A lovely story where Hopkins works his understated magic. The true story of an old gent battleing to fulfil his dream of taking his modified motorcycle to the salt flats of ohio and opening her up, hopefully to reach 200mph. You imediately love him, and his quest. A heart wrenching battle against adversity as small town austrailia meets jaded america. A sweet film.

Anthony Hopkins was on form in this film and gave a brilliant performance. It was a little slow to start, but stick with it as it soon picks up pace and you really warm to the character Burt Munro. The film was heartwarming and thoroughly enjoyable, with many humourous moments. This film is recommended when you want to chill out and watch a well written and thought out film which is inoffensive.
