It's 20 years since best friends Vinnie and Carter went their separate ways in the aftermath of a betting scam that made them a small fortune. Now Vinnie, his money long gone, boozes away his days while his one-time buddy is a millionaire; a successful breeder of racehorses with a sprawling estate in Lexington, Kentucky. Then, out of the blue, Carter gets a call from Vinnie. He's in trouble with the law and needs help. For old times sake Carter agrees to meet, little realising he is about to resurrect a dark and terrible secret from the past... a secret that could cost him everything.
