- Stephen King again takes fans to the brink and beyond with this iceswept, macabre tale about a tiny Maine island community besieged by a fierce weather supersystem and by an accompanying, all-knowing being even fiercer. "Give Me What U Want and I'll Go Away", proclaims the humaniod being who calls himself Linoge. There's mystery in his name. And in his unyielding demand. Yet this much is clear to the villagers: the sturdy town hall might shelter them from the storm, but nothing can protect them from the ever-escalating terror of an evil that's festered since the dawn of time.

Very Disappointing - Stephen King's Storm of the Century review by CD
I am a very keen Stephen King fan both of the books and the films. However, this was very disappointing and I gave up after Disc 1 and hardly made it through even the first part of this drama. It seems very dated and is very slow -moving with not enough special effects or scary action to hold one’s attention. There are many better Stephen King dramatisations than this one such as “Salem’s Lot” or “The Stand”.

Excellent Stephen King mini-series. - Stephen King's Storm of the Century review by CP Customer
This is a well above average Stephen King adaptation which starts quickly and holds your attention for the entire four hours. Well worth renting!
