Synopsis:
TV presenter, architect, historian and Venetian, Francesco da Mosto journeys from Venice to Istanbul, to the cities and islands where Western civilisation was born. following in the wake of his ancestor, the explorer Alvise da Mosto, Francesco da Mosto, sets out in a late 19th-century schooner across the Adriatic, Ionian and Aegean seas to visit spectacular ruins and sacred sites of the ancient world.

We ordered this film after seeing the wonderful series Francesco did on Venice. But the Mediterranean Voyage was very disappointing almost contentless.
