Secrets can be deadly in this suspenseful thriller about undercover Russian spies in 1980s Washington, D. C. Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth Jennings (Keri Russell) seem to be a typical suburban couple, but they're actually lethal KGB agents plotting to bring down America. As the Cold War escalates, Philip and Elizabeth must take extreme measures to continue their mission and keep their true identities hidden. But when an FBI agent moves in across the street, they become ensnared in a pulse-pounding game of cat and mouse.
This is one of these things you need to stick with. It is not fast paced so if you are looking for action then this isn't the thing for you. Though it does include some action sequences it is much more about building tension so it is what was once called a "Pressure Cooker" series. Good performances by the lead cast and nothing wrong with the programme but is was slghtly confusing at times and I did find it to drag terribly in places. Also if you want to see spy living in surburbia but in a film form and in the UK have a look for Pack Of Lies.
