Based on the hilarious best-selling novel, this sinfully funny movie starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway is sensational must see. As assistant to impossibly demanding New York fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly (Streep), young Andy Sachs (Hathaway) has landed a job that a million girls would die for. Unfortunately, her heaven-sent appointment as Miranda's personal whipping girl just might be the death of her!

I watched this with my 17-year-old son who also found it very funny. Meryl Streep is superb as the editor of a New York based fashion magazine whose demands and treatment of her 'underlings' get worse and worse. Ann Hathaway is sweet as the naive rookie who grows into the job and becomes indispensable. For me, Stanley Tucci was a gem as his performance was funny and touching. A hugely enjoyable film.

I thought this film was rather monotinous and boring. Its obviously one for the girls but prepare to get bored half way through.
