- "The Legend of Ben Hall" tells the true story of one of Australia's most notorious criminals. After two ears on the road, bush-ranger Ben Hall considers surrending to the law when an old friend entices him back to a life of crime. Taking on a fresh recruit the gang ride again, before long becoming the most wanted men in the British Empire. When they are declared outlaws, the three decide to flee^he colony forever. Glamourising criminals as colourfull characters,does'nt detract from the fact that they are still(murderous!)criminals.
Good performances here,but weak plotline made worse by sentimental overview.
The closer that Ben Hall never actually killed anyone,owes more to luck and the fact that all the combatants seemed to be such lousy shot's.
Had there been any convenient barn doors,they would'nt have hit them!
