Enter Crossworlds - a place where time and space have no meaning, a place where all the dimensions of the Universe connect and good and evil collide. To Joe Talbot (Josh Charles) the crystal he wears around his neck is simply a keepsake left to him by his murdered father. But after a terrifying encounter with a beautiful stranger, Laura, Joe begins to realise the crystal has a hidden past - it can open the portals to Crossworlds and whoever possesses it holds the key to unimaginable power.

Taken by Laura to meet the mysterious A.T. (Rutger Hauer) - a resistance fighter from a parallel world - Joe suddenly finds himself hurtling from one dimension to the next, never sure of what is real and what is not. But he is sure of one thing. Together with Laura and A.T. he must prevent the crystal from falling into the hands of Ferris (Stuart Wilson) - a megalomaniac warlord who is determined to destroy the boundaries that divide the dimensions and so create a single world that he controls.
