Synopsis:
Eight year old Anthony (Jaeden Lieberher) is somewhat uneasy about spending the weekend with his down-on-his-luck carpenter dad Walt (Clive Owen), while his mum Bonnie (Maria Bello) and her new husband Kyle go on a retreat. Walt is just as uneasy about spending time with his son, especially since their first day together is a series of characteristically unfortunate events, including his truck breaking down, his landlord locking him out of the house, and the theft of his toolbox, which he needs for an upcoming job. As Walt and Anthony set about finding the guy who stole the tools, they begin to discover a true connection with each other.

Nice little, simple, film. Would have cost very little, but has been well done and acted. Similar to the little Brit films of a few years ago. No excess of swearing, or over dramatic violence. Makes it quite a rarity amongst all the rubbish............

Always the test of a good film, the answer is YES! Clive Owen, as usual, great, and Jaeden Lieberher steals the show. Good storyline and a very satisfying ending, what more can I say?

absolutely brilliant unpretentious film. Set in small town America with beievably flawed characters including an unprececious kid . lovely little tale with a moral. loved it
