When Nancy Lyon dies in agony from arsenic poisoning, her death shocks Dallas high society, and no-one can unravel the mystery and intrigue surrounding her demise. But to Assistant District Attorney Jerry Sims, it seems like someone's about to get away with murder. The path to finding the killer is strewn with unpredictable turns, complex twists and dark family secrets. Is it Nancy's husband, a man despised by other members of her family and who is having an affair with another woman? Or Nancy's drug-addict brother, with whom she have had an incestuous relationship? Or did Nancy actually take her own life?
