Love in Limbo is a technicolour tour around the libido as it was in 1957, when sex was still a dirty word. Set to the Rhythm and Blues tunes of unrequited love and designed for maximum visual impact, the film plays with the icons of the era, and the social mores of the day.
Ken Riddle16, whom sex is a mystery, joins his two mates Arthur and Barry on a trip to Kalgoorlie's infamous red light street in a fumbling attempt to collectively lose their virginity.
Coincidentally, his glamorous widowed mother, a talented dress designer sets out on her wobbly journey to a new romance - and a new career - on stiletto heels.
Puffing on Lucky Strikes lit by Zippos, driving Studebakers adorned with tailfins, all the while shaking, rattling and rolling, the characters in Love in Limbo are innocent of greed, unaware of the world's looming crisis, free of flower power and safe from sex…But they do want to fall out of limbo into love. - Actors:
