John F Kennedy was America's 35th President, its richest, the youngest to die in office and, arguably, its most celebrated and beloved. His administration attracted some of the most brilliant young men and women in America and his beautiful wife Jackie captured the imagination of people the world over. Kennedy is a powerful drama that covers the tumultuous 1000 days of the JFK presidency - the abortive invasion of Cuba at the Bay of Pigs, violent racial conflict, the escalation of America's involvement in Vietnam and the missile crisis. It explores his private life, relationships within the family and with Jackie, the tragic death of their infant son and his chronic womanising, scrutinised by the FBI under the obsessive J. Edgar Hoover. Winner of a BAFTA for best drama series and nominated for 3 Golden Globes, Kennedy features an all star cast that includes Martin Sheen as J.F.K, Blair Brown as Jackie, John Shea as Bobby, E.G. Marshall as Joseph Kennedy, Geraldine Fitzgerald as Rose and Vincent Gardenia as Kennedy nemisis J. Edgar Hoover.
