Mums at the cinema - My Mother review by CSF

It is very interesting to compare Nanni Moretti and Pedro Almadovar's vision of their mother. I found it quite typical of their culture. I do recommend to see both film. 'About My Mother' by Almadovar with intense emotion and Moretti's My Mother, light, sweet and sour.

Absorbing - My Mother review by BE

A carefully crafted study of illness and its affect on family dynamics. Alongside this the main charecter, beautifully portrayed by Margherita Bus, is endeavouring to make an actual movie with a not easy to work with male star. Whilst it is not riveting it is, nevertheless, absorbing to watch.
