- Meet Wynonna Earp (Melanie Scrofano), great-granddaughter of gun-slinging legend Wyatt Earp and Demon Protector at large. She's about to raise a little Hell with a Colt.45 pistol customised with a 12-inch barrel which she calls 'Peacemaker'. You better hope she doesn't point this demon killing gun in your direction because Wynonna never misses her target. The Earp family has a curse on them that means when each new heir turns 27, a group of zombies called 'Revenants' come calling. And Wynonna has just turned 27. Only Wynonna and her dysfunctional posse can kill these zombies and send them back to Hell...

Imagine the cheesiest, cliched, badly written pile of teen turd you've ever seen and that's what this is. Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer but about 100 times worse, and about 15 years too late.

'Buffy' from a different production company but with the same concepts, so lacking any USP - Wynonna Earp: Series 1 review by AB
... the same attractive heroine, compulsory attractive sister/friend who turns out to be gay (Waverly v Willow); sending demons to hell (this time with a gun heirloom); the questionable colleague ('Doc' Holliday v Angel); the know-it-all mentor.
The premise/sales pitch sounded better than this is turning out to be - watched half of series 1 but won't continue.
