Suffering from amnesia, Bourne has left his violent past behind and is living a normal life with girlfriend Marie. But his plans for a peaceful life are crushed when he narrowly escapes an assassination attempt. Now hunted by an unknown enemy, Bourne proves to be neither an easy target nor a person whose skill, determination and resilience can be underestimated.

Action, good camera work

Well filmed, great fights. It's like watching a pub brawl in an SAS pub in Hertfordshire. Great extras, so you can appreciate what the director's trying to achieve.Worth a couple of watches - 3 in my case.

Not as good as the first one

Well they often say it, and it's too often sadly true.
This time a little too full of itself, but failed to create any human interest in the lead character and had less precision in fight and chase sequences than the first movie - more excitement available on the DVD extras than the film itself.

Clumsy sub-standard thriller.

Whereas the first film was tightly scripted and well shot, this film relaxes both of these criteria, and settles for the old trick of playing loud dramatic music throughout to try and create tension.
Any trace of human interest or character development in the first film is wiped out as the film tries for the effect of big-action thriller. It fails dramatically, with dull, aggressive car chases and too many dramatic FBI faces.
This is to the action thriller what porn is to the nude portrait.
