Jean Reno plays a grizzled hitman (what else?) holed up in a cabin in the snowy wastes of Washington state (filmed in Ukraine). A mysterious woman has a snowmobile accident and gate-crashes his solitude. Meanwhile a clichéd cop is on his tail. The various strands don’t hang together, the plot treads water and the slow pace leads only to a brief and unconvincing action ending. Still, if you’re in an unforgiving mood, the snowy scenery may just about be enough to keep you watching.
Love Jean Reno. He must be hard up to do random rubbish like this. Is hard to actually work out where they are supposed to be, let alone what is going on. Lost it for me in first few minutes when girl crashes the skidoo and her helmet falls off! Then the false blood....then the multiple lumps of wood embedded in her.........then the almost ballet action a few days later when nipping down slippery wooden steps on tippy toe.......followed a bit later with half a limp come back........could have done with her in battle of Trafalgar.............
So much of this is utter trash.
The story is very, very simple, a hitman is stalked by the daughter of a target and some cops try and join in. The storyline doesn't get any more details to improve it, and the whole film as so badly made it warrants a place in film schools for a study in poor film making.
Unintelligible dialogue, odd edit cuts, broken story and bad acting make this truly awful.
