Two films from Japanese directors Yukihiko Tsutsumi and Ryuhei Kitamura, who were charged by producer Shinya Kawai to each direct a film within seven days, featuring no more than two actors, and filmed in only one location. Kitamura's effort,'Aragami',is about two wounded samurai who seek refuge in an ancient temple. In the morning, one of the warriors awakes to find that his friend has died during the night. As he is tended by one of the temple monks,he learns the story of the evil goblin creature known as the Aragami, who feeds off the flesh of dead men. When the monk reveals that he is the Aragmi, the samurai must do battle with it in order to escape from the cursed temple. Tsutsumi's film,'2LDK',follows two young actresses who are auditioning for the same job. Circumstances force them to share a room for the night, something that will put their opposing personalities to the ultimate test.
